Bridgeen Gillespie has been on the indie scene since 2001 and runs her blog over at Koniption. Especially popular for using Rabbits, Gillespie has been included in anthology comics and in many UK small press events, such as the UK Web&Minicomix Thing but has also been known to generate interest by selling her own paintings through exhibitions. Bridgeen’s self published comics include Mr Maximo and Rabbit, Vols ! & 2 and Rocket, a one-off comic based on Kate Bush’s ‘Rocket’s Tail’. Her recurring characters Mr Maximo and Rabbit have also made appearances in the Accent UK anthology titles "ROBOTS" and "Zombies". She has also contributed to the Just One Page Charity comics and the 24min Comic at the UKWeb&Minicomix thing 2005.
