Michael has self published a children’s book called ‘Mr Meowinkins’ and created and co-wrote ‘Project: Last man’ but only got into writing scripts for small press comics in 2005. He co-founded his own comic company called Unico Comics around the same time with long time friend and artist Steven Howard.

He’s had 4 comics published in the 2008 annual ‘Unico Collections’ (Fallen Hero, Amy’s Story, Reapers and Crash) and now has his own series which he created and wrote called ‘The legend known as…’ he also has a comic coming out in the Anthology called ‘Predators’ from Accent comics due in 2009/10. “I’ve always tried to come up with new, interesting stories and to keep away from the normal cliché you can sometimes find in comics. Also I try to keep away from Americana as I believe as a British writer I should concentrate of creating iconic British characters and stories that have plenty of depth and offer something new at every turn”
