Oli Smith is one of the younger comics creators, but already boasts a great amount of talent. His style is versatile, though he certainly feels at home with pen and ink washes, which I feel bring out his best work. His first comic, Hazy Thursday, was a story about a mother and her son and their strange journey, a link to Oli's own childhood.

Oli proves he can deliver again, with I Dream of Real Life, an anthology title including work by many well known small pressers, such as Douglas Noble and Daniel Merlin Goodbrey. Along with a few other comics, such as Summer Ball, Oli shows his isn't afraid of telling people about himself, naming names and letting himself flow through his work. His writing allows a look at himself through his work, like many indie comics, but Oli's uniqueness certainly shines through.
