Rob Jackson has been making his own comics since 2001. His autobiographical "Train to Shanghai" was his first comic, a story of his 36 hour train journey from Harbin to Shanghai. His newest release, "On the Banks of The Mighty Croal", a walking tour of Rob's home town, Bolton. His artwork has progressed steadily through his comics, landscapes seem to be something he enjoys drawing most, and especially in "The Mighty Croal" they look very impressive. His artwork seems very British, but downright fun and in his own style. While he's not the most accomplished artist working in comics, he certainly shows that his artwork works well the way he uses it, and his progression throughout his comics is noticeable, and shows with each finished project he's becoming more and more polished.

His writing is generally autobiographical, with a few exceptions, and Rob seems to be an interesting guy. He travels a lot, and that can only really mean he has good stories to tell from all over the world. Again, some of his writing isn't the best, he has shown improvement in his work, and you know his next project is going to be even better than his previous one.
