Unico Comics based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, was founded in 2005 by Michael Burness and Steven Howard. Their mandate is to bring amateur comic book creators out of their bedrooms and into the big scary world of the comic business. Unico Comics provides an environment for amateur creators to join like minded people and produce some original British work that will get their juices cooking and bring their ideas to fruition".
