The Observer, Jonathan Cape and Comica have got together to offer aspiring Graphic Novelists the chance to win £1,000 and publication across 2 pages in the Observer! There is also a runner up prize of £250 and publication on the Guardian website. The judges, Mark Haddon, Rutu Modan, Dan Franklin (publisher, Jonathan Cape) Paul Gravett (author and Director of Comica festival), Rachel Cooke (The Observer) and Suzanne Dean (Creative Director Random House), will be on the lookout for original work from the UKs emerging talent.
